Welcome to PedagoGyan. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, https://www.pedagogyan.in, including its free and paid educational materials, digital products, quizzes, mock tests and related services.

By accessing, browsing, creating an account on or purchasing from PedagoGyan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue using the website.

1. About PedagoGyan

PedagoGyan is an independent educational platform that provides free and paid resources for WB Primary TET, Upper Primary TET, CTET and other State TET examinations.

Our resources may include:

• Notes and study materials;
• Previous-year question papers;
• Suggestions and question banks;
• Practice sets;
• Quizzes and mock tests;
• Pedagogy resources;
• Digital books and PDF files; and
• Other examination-preparation materials.

PedagoGyan is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, authorised by or officially endorsed by WBBPE, WBSSC, CBSE, CTET, NCTE, any State TET authority, university, government department or examination board unless expressly stated.

2. Eligibility and User Responsibility

You must provide accurate, complete and current information when creating an account, submitting an enquiry or making a purchase.

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure;
• Ensuring that the email address and phone number entered during checkout are correct;
• Maintaining access to the email account used for purchase;
• Checking product descriptions and compatibility before purchasing;
• Keeping downloaded files securely; and
• All activities performed through your account.

If you are below the age legally required to enter into a contract, you should use the website or make a purchase only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Educational Purpose

All notes, answers, quizzes, practice sets, mock tests and other materials available on PedagoGyan are provided solely for educational and examination-preparation purposes.

Although we make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information is accurate and useful:

• We do not guarantee that every answer or explanation is error-free;
• Examination patterns, syllabuses, rules and notifications may change;
• Suggestions are not guarantees that particular questions will appear in an examination;
• Mock-test scores do not guarantee actual examination results; and
• Users should verify official dates, eligibility criteria, syllabuses, notifications and rules from the relevant examination authority.

Your examination preparation, application decisions and use of the materials remain your responsibility.

4. Products, Pricing and Availability

Paid digital products are offered through our WooCommerce store. Product descriptions, contents, language or medium, price and available format are displayed on the relevant product page.

Prices may be changed at any time without prior notice. A price change will not ordinarily affect an order that has already been successfully completed.

We reserve the right to:

• Add, modify or discontinue a product;
• Correct typographical or pricing errors;
• Cancel or refuse an order affected by an obvious technical or pricing error;
• Limit the availability of products or services; and
• Update study materials where necessary.

If we cancel a successfully paid order because of an error on our part, the amount received for that order will be refunded through an appropriate method.

5. Orders and Payments

Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways integrated with WooCommerce. An order is considered successful only after payment confirmation is received and the order is accepted by our system.

You agree to provide accurate:

• Name;
• Email address;
• Phone number;
• Billing information; and
• Other information required to process the order.

PedagoGyan is not responsible for delivery problems resulting from an incorrect email address, phone number or other information entered by the customer.

Payment gateways may apply their own terms, privacy practices and security procedures. We do not directly store your complete card details, UPI PIN, CVV or online banking password.

6. Delivery of Digital Products

Products sold through PedagoGyan are primarily digital products. No physical item will be shipped unless explicitly mentioned on the product page.

Digital products may be delivered through:

• A download link on the order-confirmation page;
• The customer’s PedagoGyan account;
• An order-confirmation email;
• A PDF-access link; or
• Another delivery method mentioned on the product page.

Delivery is generally initiated after successful payment confirmation. Technical problems, payment verification or incorrect customer information may occasionally delay access.

If you do not receive your purchased product within the period mentioned on the product or delivery page, contact us with your order number and payment details.

7. Digital Product Licence

Purchasing a digital product gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use that product for your own study and examination preparation.

A purchase does not transfer ownership or copyright of the product to you.

Unless written permission is obtained from PedagoGyan, you must not:

• Share purchased files, download links or account access with another person;
• Upload materials to Telegram, WhatsApp, Google Drive, YouTube, social media, websites or file-sharing platforms;
• Distribute materials in public or private groups;
• Resell, rent, sublicense or commercially exploit any material;
• Print or reproduce materials for distribution or resale;
• Remove watermarks, copyright notices or ownership information;
• Modify or rebrand materials and present them as your own; or
• Use the materials for coaching-centre, institutional or commercial distribution.

Digital products are licensed for the individual purchaser’s personal use only. Unauthorised sharing or resale may result in suspension of access, termination of the user account and appropriate legal action.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

Due to the immediate-access nature of downloadable and digital products, purchases are generally non-refundable after the product or download link has been delivered, accessed or downloaded.

A refund or replacement may be considered where:

• The same order was charged more than once;
• Payment was successful but the purchased product could not be delivered because of a problem attributable to PedagoGyan;
• The delivered file is materially different from the product purchased; or
• The digital file is defective and we are unable to provide a working replacement.

A change of mind, accidental purchase, failure to read the product description, purchase of the wrong subject/medium or failure to download the file within the stated period will not ordinarily qualify for a refund.

Nothing in these terms limits any non-excludable rights available to consumers under applicable law. All refund requests are also governed by our separate Refund and Cancellation Policy.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend or terminate an account or access to digital products if we reasonably believe that a user has:

• Shared purchased content or download credentials;
• Attempted unauthorised access;
• Used false information for a transaction;
• Engaged in fraud, abuse or unlawful conduct;
• Interfered with website security or operation;
• Violated intellectual-property rights; or
• Breached these Terms and Conditions.

Where appropriate, we may request verification or provide an opportunity to clarify the issue before taking action.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise stated, PedagoGyan owns or lawfully uses the rights in its original:

• Notes and explanations;
• Practice sets and mock tests;
• Compilation, arrangement and presentation of materials;
• Website content and design;
• Graphics, logos and branding;
• Product covers; and
• Original digital publications.

Official previous-year questions, examination names, notifications, syllabuses, trademarks and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on PedagoGyan does not imply official affiliation or endorsement.

You may access free website pages and use purchased materials for personal educational purposes, subject to these terms.

11. Acceptable Use

You must not use PedagoGyan:

• For any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
• To distribute malware, harmful code or spam;
• To interfere with the website or its security;
• To scrape, copy or systematically extract content without permission;
• To impersonate another person;
• To submit false payment or identity information;
• To attempt to bypass payment or access restrictions;
• To infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights; or
• To publish abusive, defamatory, threatening or inappropriate content.

12. Quizzes and Mock Tests

Free or paid quizzes and mock tests are intended for practice and self-assessment only.

We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted availability of a quiz or test;
• Permanent storage of scores or attempts;
• Exact similarity to an official examination;
• Selection, qualification or a particular score; or
• That every question will remain relevant after syllabus changes.

We may correct, replace or remove questions and answers when errors or changes are identified.

13. Third-Party Links and Advertisements

PedagoGyan may contain advertisements and links to third-party websites, payment services or educational resources.

We do not control and are not responsible for:

• Third-party content;
• Products or services offered by external websites;
• Privacy or security practices of third parties; or
• Loss or damage resulting from transactions conducted outside PedagoGyan.

Visiting or using a third-party website is at your own discretion and subject to that website’s terms and policies.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

PedagoGyan and its services are provided on an “as available” basis.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not provide any guarantee regarding:

• Continuous or error-free website availability;
• Absolute accuracy or completeness of educational content;
• Compatibility with every device, browser or PDF reader;
• Preservation of user accounts, quiz scores or downloads indefinitely; or
• Specific academic, examination or employment outcomes.

We may temporarily suspend the website for maintenance, security updates, technical problems or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PedagoGyan and its owner shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from:

• Reliance on educational content;
• Changes in an examination syllabus, date or rule;
• Loss of downloaded files;
• User device, browser or Internet problems;
• Third-party payment or service failures;
• Unauthorised sharing of account credentials; or
• Temporary website unavailability.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Privacy

Your use of PedagoGyan is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information.

We may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our services, products, technology, policies or legal requirements.

The revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of PedagoGyan after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, subject to applicable law.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of India.

If a concern arises, you are encouraged to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the matter. Any unresolved dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in West Bengal, India, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain in effect.
